Stacey holds a Master of Science Degree in Gender and Development Studies, a Master of Arts Degree in Communication Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literatures in English. Based on her philosophy of gender equity and gender-sensitive development, she operates with the understanding that no single approach is right for any one group/person. Stacey, who is also an author, is a honest Vocal Introvert™ and empath, advocates for the unmet needs of women and girls, as well as any other marginalized group, through her writing, which include but is not limited to poetry, story writing and thought pieces. She is also a content and copy editor, proofreader and writer who enjoys open and raw conversations and uncomfortable truths about life, but more specific, parenting (the good and not so good), misogyny, gender-based violence, narcissistic abuse, feminism, friendship, and sex. She believes in thoughtfulness and love and will choose kindness over being nice any day.
